Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
our·itineraries (also distributed as the iOS app “An Architect’s Day”) lets you build, store, and share trip itineraries. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) gives us your name and email address so we can create and secure your account.
- Your trips. The itineraries you create or import — titles, stops, notes, costs, and similar content you enter.
- Location (mobile app only). If you grant permission, the app uses your device location to show directions and to notify you when you’re near a stop. This happens on your device; we do not collect or store your location on our servers.
- Basic technical data. Standard server logs (e.g. request timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide the service: to authenticate you, store and sync your trips across the app and web, and carry out the sharing and invitations you initiate. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
AI features
When you choose “Fill with AI,” the trip text you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate copy and cost estimates, then saved to your trip. It is not used to train models. Don’t put sensitive personal information into trip content you send to AI.
Sharing
Trips are private by default. They are visible to others only when you make them public, share a link, or invite someone — exactly as you choose on the share screen. We rely on these service providers to run the product: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI generation), and Mapbox (maps). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete any trip at any time from the app or the web. To delete your account and the data associated with it, email us at lib@libmiles.com and we’ll remove it.
Children
The service isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Security
We use reputable providers and standard safeguards to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll revise the date above when we do. Significant changes will be noted here.
