Privacy Policy

• Account. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) gives us your name and email address so we can create and secure your account.
• Your trips. The itineraries you create or import — titles, stops, notes, costs, and similar content you enter.
• Location (mobile app only). If you grant permission, the app uses your device location to show directions and to notify you when you’re near a stop. This happens on your device; we do not collect or store your location on our servers.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs (e.g. request timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

To provide the service: to authenticate you, store and sync your trips across the app and web, and carry out the sharing and invitations you initiate. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

When you choose “Fill with AI,” the trip text you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate copy and cost estimates, then saved to your trip. It is not used to train models. Don’t put sensitive personal information into trip content you send to AI.

Trips are private by default. They are visible to others only when you make them public, share a link, or invite someone — exactly as you choose on the share screen. We rely on these service providers to run the product: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI generation), and Mapbox (maps). They process data only to provide their service to us.

You can delete any trip at any time from the app or the web. To delete your account and the data associated with it, email us at lib@libmiles.com and we’ll remove it.

The service isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

We use reputable providers and standard safeguards to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the date above when we do. Significant changes will be noted here.
